Tranquility

 Loss.

It is like looking down,
into a bottomless abyss.
Only mourning and grieving can help cross it.
The infinite sorrow consumes.
Sleep is lost.
One moves in darkness,
looking for the light.
But, cross one must,
to let the peace and tranquility, on the other side, brighten life once again.
