Concrete jungle,
smothering life.
Huge, steel chimneys,
spewing out smoke,
suffocating.
Nights foggy,
days smogy.
Buildings mere structures,
strangling everyone in their wake.
Noisy streets,
stifling voices.
The fragile frame of psyche,
being killed steadily.
Asphyxiated life,
no respite,
no recourse,
but to die sluggishly.
